John has a broad technology and product marketing background supporting Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies.
After graduating from Southern Methodist University where he studied business, advertising and history, John worked at D Magazine and The Richards Group before joining a streaming media and interactive television startup in Dallas. As product manager, John launched the web streaming media division.
John was also a senior associate strategist with Scient, (now Razorfish), an e-commerce consulting firm focusing on supply-chain management and e-business systems design.
John has worked with companies such as SC Johnson, TXU, Vectren Energy, Verizon, Morgan Stanley, Yahoo!, Broadcast.com, GTE, Bombardier Lear Jet, Wyndham Hotels, Continental Airlines and Kaepa shoes.
John has received numerous awards in the fine arts field as well as national recognition from the acclaimed ONE show.
John completed the Strategic Marketing Management course at Columbia University Business School in New York.
John enjoys live music, hiking, running, traveling, making sushi and spending time with his dog, Mags.
