The Carson Group Hires Miracle Planner

HOUSTON, May 2007 -- The Carson Group, a Houston-based advertising and marketing communications firm, announced today that Joy Wallace joined the team as the media planner.

As the media planner, she will negotiate buys for television, radio, print, out-of-home and online advertising campaigns. Wallace brings 22 years of media buying experience, on both the advertising agency side and the media side, to The Carson Group. She has planned media for several retail and consumer product companies.

At CBS radio, Joy was instrumental in planning and coordinating promotional events. She builds great relationships with her clients and they are always pleased with her inept ability to organize large buys.

Wallace is detail oriented, precise and a strong negotiator. She is responsible for monitoring all media buys for accuracy, checking invoices, and negotiating rates.

She is a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and served as Captain of the Communications Committee for 12 years and as the show’s official calligrapher for all of the scholarship banquet awards.
