HOUSTON, June 2006 -- The Carson Group, a Houston-based advertising and marketing communications firm, announced today that Chan Chong joined the team as the web developer.

Chong brings more than seven years of coding experience to The Carson Group. As the web developer, he plays a key role in creating the seamless integration of design, business logic and data access that both clients and online consumers desire. His extensive knowledge of programming FLASH, CSS, HTML, PHP and MySQL will enable web sites to load more quickly without compromising design.
Chong received his BA in Art Communications from the University of Houston, studying Media Production and Studio Arts. A South Korean native, Chong got his first taste of media production doing English translations for ADV Films, the #1 producer of anime outside Japan. He attributes growing up during the Internet boom as a major influence to his keen awareness of fluid technology.
